Academic Compliance Assessment Procedure

The Academic Compliance Assessment serves to evaluate the current state of academic compliance oversight, management, and associated risks within a specified compliance area. The objectives are to:

  • Foster awareness and cultivate a culture of compliance with the national legal framework for higher education in Vietnam, including the Higher Education Law, Vietnam National Qualification Framework, Vietnam National Standards for Higher Education Institutions, and other regulations set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the Ministry of Health (MoH), and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), pertaining to educational and research endeavors within Vietnamese higher education institutions.
  • Identify strengths and areas requiring improvement within specific compliance domains, establish a foundation for developing gap closure plans, and escalate compliance issues as necessary.
  • Proactively prepare for national and international accreditation at both institutional and programmatic levels.
